The Sunday Morning Concert is Het Concertgebouw’s long-running 11:00–12:00 series, co-presented by AVROTROS and The Concertgebouw. This edition features the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra’s Brass Ensemble in a one-hour, no‑intermission program that balances festive energy with contemplation. Highlights include Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker arranged for brass, a new brass medley from The Phantom of the Opera, Shostakovich’s Jazz Suite No. 2 (arr. Verhaert), Steven Verhelst’s Monumental Etude, and Arvo Pärt’s serene Vater unser.
