Het Concertgebouw hosts a solo piano recital by Nicolas van Poucke in the Recital Hall (Kleine Zaal), featuring four landmarks of the piano repertoire: Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 12 in A-flat, Op. 26; Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 35 (‘Funeral March’); Debussy’s Children’s Corner; and Schumann’s Carnaval, Op. 9. Celebrated for its intimacy and acoustics, the Kleine Zaal is billed as Amsterdam’s chamber-music venue of choice. The recital continues Van Poucke’s recurring tradition of performing there twice a year with repertoire ranging from Sweelinck to Rachmaninoff. The concert originally scheduled for 12 June 2026 has been rescheduled to 21 November 2026 due to personal circumstances.
