About this event
Het Concertgebouw presents the LGT Young Soloists in a Sunday morning concert centered on Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata. The international string ensemble of about 25 elite young players (ages 14–23), founded in 2013 by violinist and artistic director Alexander Gilman, tours leading halls around the world. The program opens with Giovanni Sollima’s high-octane Violoncelles, Vibrez! and continues with Beethoven’s Sonata in A, Op. 47 ‘Kreutzer’ in Paul Struck’s acclaimed arrangement for violin and string orchestra. The concert lasts about one hour without intermission and is part of AVROTROS’s Sunday Morning Concert series.
