Ud Festival: Oum – Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam

Het Concertgebouw presents Moroccan singer-songwriter Oum in the Kleine Zaal as part of the sixth Ud Festival (3–21 November 2026). Curated by the in-house team (Eigen Programmering) with support from Concertgebouw Connects, this intimate, uninterrupted 90-minute concert focuses on material from Oum’s new project Dialddar. The staging strips the sound back to essentials: lead vocals with three backing vocalists, oud and percussion. The Ud Festival highlights the ud as a historical bridge from Baghdad to Andalusia, and Oum’s programme places the instrument at the centre of a contemporary Afro‑Arabic sound world.
