The Sunday Afternoon Baroque series at Het Concertgebouw brings leading baroque ensembles to the Recital Hall on Sunday afternoons. For this edition, the Concertgebouw’s own programming department presents Solomon’s Knot, a UK-based vocal-instrumental collective known for breathing new life into early music by performing entirely from memory and without a conductor. Their goal is to fuse innovative live performance with meticulous preparation to create intense, emotionally direct experiences. The concert takes place in the intimate Kleine Zaal, renowned for its close audience contact and refined acoustics. There is no intermission, and the Kleine Zaal Fund is acknowledged for its support.
