Amsterdam’s Van Baerle Trio—pianist Hannes Minnaar, violinist Maria Milstein and cellist Gideon den Herder—presents a chamber program of vivid contrasts in the Recital Hall of The Concertgebouw. Schumann’s canons in Kirchner’s piano-trio arrangement, MacMillan’s playful miniatures, and Brahms’s monumental First Piano Trio reveal three distinct compositional voices over a single evening.
