OSPA opens its 2026–2027 subscription season with Abono 1 under music director Nuno Coelho, pairing two early 20th‑century masterpieces that revel in color and atmosphere: Manuel de Falla’s Noches en los jardines de España with Spanish pianist Martín García García, and Maurice Ravel’s complete Daphnis et Chloé for orchestra and wordless mixed chorus, joined by the Asturian choir El León de Oro. The same program is performed on consecutive evenings in Gijón (Teatro Jovellanos) and Oviedo (Auditorio Príncipe Felipe).
