About this event

Nachhall im Museum is a walking-concert series by Oper Leipzig’s Musikalische Komödie in cooperation with the Museum of Fine Arts Leipzig. It brings visual art and live music together in the galleries, letting sound and space interact as part of the performance. Musicians from the Musikalische Komödie’s orchestra and chorus appear in changing constellations with varied programs on each date, so every event has its own musical profile. Audience members move through the museum rooms during the approximately one-hour event, encountering music in direct dialogue with the artworks. Conceived under chief conductor Stefan Klingele and continued under Music Director Michael Nündel (since 2024/25), the series emphasizes accessibility and outreach. Admission is free.
