This concert is part of the Haifa Symphony Orchestra’s “Chamber Salon” series at Beit Hecht, offering intimate chamber music performed by HSO musicians. The 4 November 2026 String Quartet program presents Romantic-era highlights as selected movements rather than complete quartets, traversing German and Russian traditions. The four HSO players emphasize lyrical and scherzo writing, including Tchaikovsky’s Andante cantabile, Borodin’s beloved Nocturne, and two movements from Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden.” Program subject to change.
