Berger Story – Chœur Spectacul'art – Opéra Grand Avignon, Avignon

About this event

Berger Story is a 100% live vocal tribute to Michel Berger, created and led by Vincent Fuchs. The production gathers 200 local Spectacul’Art choristers on stage, supported by live musicians, to perform new large-chorus arrangements of Berger’s songs. Designed as a large‑scale choral show, it blends powerful ensemble numbers with intimate solo moments over live instrumental backing. Guest artist Élodie Frégé appears on select titles, adding a featured solo voice that dialogues with the massed choir. The concept follows Spectacul’Art’s participatory model: local choirs form the onstage ensemble in each tour city while the artistic direction, arrangements, and staging blueprint remain consistent. The focus is on the impact of 200 voices, with lighting and spatial design that centers the choir as the primary visual element. The tour travels with a standardized technical setup adapted to each venue.
