Concert 2 in the Haifa Symphony Orchestra’s 2026–27 Great Symphonic Series at the Herzliya Performing Arts Center. Titled “Concert from the Movies,” the program features orchestral selections associated with iconic films: Dr. Zhivago, Mary Poppins, Bonnie and Clyde, A Fistful of Dollars, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, The Jungle Book, Hawaii Five-0, Bullitt, The Sound of Music, Lawrence of Arabia, The Longest Day, The Alamo, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, A Clockwork Orange, and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Conducted by the orchestra’s music director Amos Talamon, the series balances accessible, cross-genre programming with core classical repertoire and brings the orchestra to its Herzliya satellite venue.
