Die Kuh Rosmarie is a piece of music theatre by Claudia Federspieler, based on the picture book "Die Kuh Rosalinde" by Frauke Nahrgang and Winfried Opgenoorth. The Swiss original was translated from Swiss German by Juliane Schwerdtner, dramatized by Andri Beyeler, and adapted into a libretto by Felix Losert. At the Staatstheater Cottbus Kammerbühne, the production is directed by Cordula Daeuper, with set and costumes by Sophie du Vinage. The staging uses just two singers who bring all characters and the story to life, supported by four musicians. The sound world features accordion, a variety of percussion, and even cowbells. Musical direction is by Andreas Simon. Aimed at audiences aged 5 and up, the performance runs 60 minutes without intermission. The dramaturgy is by Corinna Jarosch. The venue is barrier-free for wheelchair users; advance notice is requested. An open rehearsal took place on 1 December 2025.
