About this event
This edition of the Midi musical lunchtime series features the Busan Metropolitan Junior Chorus from South Korea. Midi musical concerts are short mid-day performances (45–60 minutes) at 12:30, offering a musical break. They take place in Salle Molière, the 350-seat hall behind the Opéra Comédie. The Busan Metropolitan Junior Chorus is a city-affiliated children's choir with a strong international touring record, having performed in China, Japan, Germany, England, Canada, Sweden, and Hong Kong, and winning the grand prize in the modern choral category at the 33rd Halle International Children's Choral Festival (Germany) in 2012. The chorus has released three albums (“Blue Mind White Mind” 1999, “Lalala with Mom and Dad” 2003, and “MEMORIA” 2013). Their visit to Montpellier is supported by the Korean Cultural Center. This November 4 date is a stand-alone Midi musical concert, separate from the November 1 collaboration with Opéra Junior.
