Opéra Junior & Busan Metropolitan Junior Chorus – Opéra Comédie, Montpellier

About this event

This concert brings together two youth choirs on the stage of the Opéra Comédie: the Busan Metropolitan Junior Chorus from South Korea and Opéra Junior from Montpellier, for an evening dedicated to cultural encounter, sharing, and artistic dialogue. Young Korean and French singers will join voices to celebrate choral singing as a universal language. The collaboration continues in December with a return visit by Opéra Junior to South Korea (Goyang and Busan). The Busan Metropolitan Junior Chorus is an internationally renowned ensemble with many tours and accolades, while Opéra Junior—founded in 1990 within Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie—trains singers aged 4 to 29 and is the 2025 recipient of the Liliane Bettencourt Prize for choral singing.
