Filmkonzert: Nosferatu - Eine Symphonie Des Grauens – OPAL – Oper am Luisenpark, Mannheim

About this event

This film concert presents F. W. Murnau’s 1922 silent film classic Nosferatu – A Symphony of Horror in a restored print with the original 1922 score performed live by the Nationaltheater Orchestra. The pairing of projected film and orchestral sound recreates the historical performance practice of silent cinema, offering an immersive concert–film experience. In cooperation with the 75th International Film Festival Mannheim-Heidelberg as part of its anniversary campaign “Imagine Futures,” Nationaltheater Mannheim bridges cinematic heritage and live music at OPAL, the opera house in Luisenpark.
