This symphony concert in the Fondazione Haydn’s 2026/27 season is led by Neapolitan conductor Clelia Cafiero and traces three distinct musical voices from the contemporary to the Romantic and 20th-century repertoire. Anna Clyne’s Within Her Arms opens with a modern orchestral palette, followed by Brahms’s Double Concerto in A minor, Op. 102, featuring concertmaster Marco Mandolini (violin) and Luca Pasqual (cello) as soloists. The evening concludes with Poulenc’s Sinfonietta, FP 141, a wry, neoclassical orchestral work. Performed by the Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento, founded in 1960 and renowned for repertoire spanning Baroque to contemporary, the program is presented on consecutive evenings in the foundation’s two home cities, Bolzano and Trento.
