About this event
This concert celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Gürzenich Orchestra’s Orchestra Academy, founded in September 2016. The academy supports gifted young instrumentalists as they transition from university to professional life, offering hands-on training through participation in rehearsals and concerts with the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne, individual mentoring by orchestra members, and appearances in symphonic and opera projects. The jubilee concert is part of the Cologne Philharmonie’s 2026/2027 anniversary season, which also marks the hall’s 40th year. The specific program and performers will be announced at a later date.
