Oper Am Mittag – Stuttgart City Library, Stuttgart

About this event

“Oper am Mittag” is Staatsoper Stuttgart’s annual season presentation held in Stuttgart’s City Library (Stadtbibliothek) at Mailänder Platz. At the start of each new season, the opera company takes over the library’s central space to present the upcoming opera and concert program with spoken introductions and live musical excerpts. Performances are given by members of the company’s International Opera Studio. The open, light-filled setting creates a relaxed midday atmosphere where audiences can experience operatic highlights without the formality of the opera house. Admission is free and no registration is required.
