No Me Toques El Cuento – Cultural Caja De Burgos, Burgos

About this event

NO ME TOQUES EL CUENTO is an original, irreverent musical comedy conceived and directed by Olivia Lara. It deconstructs classic fairy tales through a feminist lens, featuring four iconic princesses who rebel against their prescribed plots to tell the silenced side of their stories. The show relies on direct audience address and frequent fourth-wall breaks. Original music by Shadday López, with musical production by Gerard Rodríguez, underpins comedic numbers that alternate with metatheatrical commentary. The touring cast is variable, with performers such as Carmen Calle, Isabel Morán, Olivia Lara, and Masi Rodríguez, and Colette Casas serving as cover on select dates. Staging is actor-driven rather than design-heavy, using costume and lighting to shift between the fairy-tale world and critical reflection. Sound and lighting design are handled by Juan Barahona. Produced by Teatroz with tour distribution by MPC Management, the production travels to multiple cities across Spain.
