Image.France brings together French violinist Olivier Charlier and Taiwan’s Baroque Camerata for a French-themed concert centered on the Franco-Belgian violin tradition. Described as an heir to this lineage, Charlier is known for purity of tone, elegant phrasing, and refined technique; he serves as violin professor at the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) and performs on a 1747 Carlo Bergonzi. Baroque Camerata, a Taiwan-based chamber ensemble, regularly curates Baroque-inspired programs and collaborates with international soloists. This program appeared at Weiwuying and as part of the Sizihwan Art Festival at National Sun Yat-sen University, reflecting a touring format within Kaohsiung.
