Final 2 of the Concours de Genève - Conducting 2025–2026 is the concluding round of the competition’s 79th edition in the conducting category. Founded in 1939, the Geneva International Music Competition is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious, rotating through instrumental and vocal disciplines. For the 2025–2026 cycle, preliminary rounds took place in Geneva from 31 October to 3 November 2025, with semi-finals and finals scheduled in November 2026. Between phases, selected candidates attend a non-public masterclass with Daniele Gatti (2–6 February 2026) and a non-public workshop in Geneva (14–16 September 2026). Final 2, devoted exclusively to conducting, follows Final 1 (10–11 November 2026) and features the finalists leading the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande at Victoria Hall. The jury, chaired by Bertrand de Billy, evaluates the finalists and awards prizes at the end of the competition.
