The Worcester Chorus’s annual presentation of Handel’s Messiah returns to Mechanics Hall’s Great Hall, directed by Artistic Director Chris Shepard. The 2026 edition welcomes back the three soloists who appeared to high acclaim in 2025: soprano Robyn Marie Lamp, mezzo-soprano Ann McMahon Quintero, and bass Edwin Jhamal Davis. The Worcester Chorus, approximately 100 professional and amateur singers, is supported by Assistant Director and Accompanist Mark Mummert. The performance takes place in the historic Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA, renowned for its 19th-century architecture and acoustics. Reserved seating tickets range from $55 to $100 for adults, with $20 student tickets available via Music Worcester. Free parking is offered at the Pearl Elm Garage, and accessibility includes elevator access to the floor level (balcony not accessible). Program, time, venue, and artists are subject to change.
