About this event

The sixth concert of Mozarteum Argentino’s 2026 season, held in the Main Hall of the Teatro Colón, features Dutch cellist Pieter Wispelwey and pianist Paolo Giacometti, a duo with a long-standing partnership. Wispelwey appeared with Mozarteum in 2022 performing the complete Bach Cello Suites in a single evening, and the duo also played together at Teatro Colón in 2000. Their recordings have been distinguished with the Edison Classical Music Award and the Diapason d’Or. This recital offers a journey through emblematic works for cello and piano and forms part of the eight-concert series that makes up Mozarteum Argentino’s 74th season.
