This recital is part of the “C. Bechstein Klavierabende” series presented by C. Bechstein Wien GmbH at Vienna’s historic Ehrbar Saal. The program traces a line from early Romanticism and Viennese Classicism to French Impressionism: Schubert’s Piano Sonata in A minor D 784, Mozart’s A major Sonata K. 331, Chopin’s B-flat minor Sonata Op. 35 (with its famous Funeral March), and three Debussy works—Masques, D’un cahier d’esquisses, and L’isle joyeuse.
