Rooted in historically informed practice, the group emphasizes 18th‑century style, rhetoric, and the distinctive colors of gut strings and continuo. The venue is integral to the concept: St. Charles Church (completed 1737) offers resonant acoustics and a powerful visual setting, only steps from where Vivaldi was buried in 1741. The core program centers on Le quattro stagioni, with a baroque violin soloist leading the ensemble. Standard evenings at Karlskirche often add further Vivaldi concertos such as RV 253 (La tempesta di mare) and the string concerto RV 157. On selected dates, the series also includes arias by Vivaldi or Handel performed by guest singers, deepening the Baroque sound world.
