Part of the Sunday Morning Concert series, this program presents a sparkling selection of much‑loved classical works. The Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the Netherlands’ most versatile orchestras and a pillar of this series, performs a line‑up of classical favorites. The National Young Women’s Choir sings movements from Fauré’s Requiem, renowned for its heavenly and consoling spirit and a perennial favorite in classical rankings. Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven take center stage alongside evergreens such as Smetana’s The Moldau and Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise. A soloist from the National Boys’ Choir also features in the program. The concert is conducted by Sander Teepen, with Irene Verburg as chorus master.
