A contemplative a cappella program on remembrance and consolation. Honorary Conductor Peter Dijkstra leads the Swedish Radio Choir through a carefully shaped arc: Elgar’s gentle tribute, Brahms’s existential questioning, two contemporary prayers by Nana Forte, Bach’s turn toward confidence in Komm, Jesu, komm, and Parry’s expansive Songs of Farewell. Spanning centuries of choral writing, the concert weaves loss, hope, and spiritual reflection into a single, consoling journey.
