The String Quartet Haydn-a-Thon is an annual concert series presented by The Juilliard School as part of its String Quartet Survey program. The event is a marathon-style survey of Joseph Haydn’s string quartets, with multiple sessions across consecutive days. Each session features different Haydn quartets so that a broad span of his output is heard over the event. Performances take place in Morse Hall at Juilliard’s Lincoln Center campus in New York. Designed as an educational and performance-training opportunity for Juilliard string quartet students, the Haydn-a-Thon is open to the public and documented in Juilliard’s digital media collections.
