Coro Nacional De Niños: Estampas Criollas – Gran Teatro Nacional, Lima

Estampas Criollas is a musical and scenic production by the National Children's Choir of Peru that connects traditional Peruvian criollo customs with contemporary expressions of the country's cultural heritage. Premiered in October 2024 at the Gran Teatro Nacional and revived in 2025, the 2026 edition marks its third outing. The program re-creates scenes of old Lima, Afro-Peruvian culture, and traditional street vendor calls (pregones), and features a colorful selection of marineras from various regions. Conceived as a choral concert with theatrical and visual elements, the show brings together more than 100 young choristers under the direction of maestro Mónica Canales.
