South Korean pianist Yunchan Lim appears in a solo piano recital presented as Concert A4 in Ibermusica’s 2026–2027 Serie Arriaga. The programme is devoted entirely to Mozart’s piano sonatas, spanning five works that trace the composer’s keyboard writing from the mid-1770s to the early 1780s. Since becoming the youngest-ever winner of the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2022, Lim has built an international profile, and in 2026 he undertakes focused Mozart programming, including cycles at London’s Wigmore Hall. Ibermusica, a private promoter with over 55 years of activity, presents its concerts in the Symphony Hall (Sala Sinfónica) of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid. This programme showcases Mozart’s stylistic evolution, from the Sonata No. 4 in E-flat major, K.282 (1775), through the No. 13 in B-flat major, K.333, to the much-loved No. 11, K.331, with its famous “Alla Turca” finale.
