Opening concert of Ibermúsica’s 57th season (2026–2027), within the Serie Arriaga, featuring Gustavo Dudamel leading the New York Philharmonic in his inaugural season as Tang Music & Artistic Director. The program spans three works across eras and aesthetics: John Adams’s 21st‑century choral memorial, a newly commissioned piece by Zosha Di Castri, and Prokofiev’s Fifth Symphony, a 20th‑century symphonic landmark. Orfeó Català joins for Adams’s On the Transmigration of Souls, which calls for mixed chorus with orchestra.
