About this event
The 2026 Hasselblad Concert celebrates prize laureate Zanele Muholi—hailed as one of the most influential photographers of our time—and links photography and music through the theme of seasons and colours. The program pairs tradition and renewal: Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, marked by his longing for Clara Wieck and interpreted by Rudolf Buchbinder, meets Aziza Sadikova’s contemporary Farbenzeiten, a vivid paraphrase of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons for four orchestral soloists. Former principal guest conductor Kent Nagano leads the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in this festive tribute framing the prize ceremony.
