About this event

This event is part of Opéra de Lausanne’s cultural mediation programme “L’Opéra au TKM,” which brings lyrical art to Théâtre Kléber-Méleau for an evening. Artists from the main Giuditta production present a 50-minute recital in the intimate foyer rather than on the main stage, offering audiences highlights from the show in a close, informal setting. The full Giuditta staging by Pierre-André Weitz evokes the world of 1930s circus and cabaret, with lighting by Bertrand Killy and choreography by Ivo Bauchiero. The co-production with Opéra national du Rhin features the Sinfonietta de Lausanne and the Chœur de l’Opéra de Lausanne under the baton of Thomas Rösner. This TKM date focuses on a curated selection from Lehár’s operetta, performed by artists from the production.
