About this event

School Concert: In Search of Sunshine is a concert for children aged 6–9 presented by the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in the Stenhammar Hall at the Gothenburg Concert Hall. The production combines a detective-style narrative with live performances of Beethoven’s string quartet music. Everyday sources of joy are framed as “sunbeams,” and the audience is invited into a mystery about finding the light that carries us from one day to the next. The script is by Vic Vem and Mats Kjelbye. Musicians from the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra perform as a string quartet. Running time is about 45 minutes with no intermission; admission is free for school groups with seat reservations.
