About this event

Part of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra’s 2026/27 Signature Series and presented in partnership with the Stulberg International String Competition, this concert is led by conductor Molly Turner. The KSO pairs Florence Price’s Andante moderato with Mendelssohn’s beloved “Italian” Symphony, with a string concerto featuring the 2026 Stulberg Gold Medalist, violinist Ella Eom, as the centerpiece (specific concerto to be announced). The season is presented by Zhang Financial, with additional sponsorship from Stryker and Greenleaf Trust, and support from the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra League. Signature Series concerts include a Prelude pre-concert talk and an AfterWORDS post-concert talk.
