A theatrical adaptation of Jack London’s cult novel The Star Rover (Tulák po hvězdách), translated by Jan Mrlík and dramaturgically adapted by David Košťák and Michal Spratek. Conceived as an intense one-man drama, the production relies on the singular performance of actor Jakub Koudela to guide the audience through the sweep of human history. Directed by Hana Marvanová, with scenography and costumes by Michal Spratek and original music by Jakub Drahorád. The staging contrasts the claustrophobic reality of a prison cell with the limitless freedom of imagination, emphasizing the physical and psychological states of the protagonist. It is described as a celebration of indomitable will designed to captivate the audience and liberate their fantasy over a focused 75 minutes without intermission.
