Loutna Česká - Koncertní Provedení – KD Slavie, České Budějovice

About this event

This production is a special concert performance designed to commemorate the 350th anniversary of the death of Adam Václav Michna z Otradovic, a prominent South Bohemian native and composer. The artistic vision behind this event is to establish a new cultural tradition in the South Bohemian region. The producers explicitly draw a parallel to Prague's annual tradition of performing Bedřich Smetana's Má vlast on the anniversary of his death, aiming to create a similar enduring legacy for Michna's work in České Budějovice. The performance will take place at the KD Slavie cultural center.
