A stage adaptation of Radu Jude’s award-winning film, this production by Jihočeské divadlo (Drama Ensemble) examines privacy, public scrutiny, and moral panic in the digital age. Directed by Jakub Čermák with dramaturgy by Olga Šubrtová, the staging confronts social hypocrisy through sharp humor and pointed stage images. The production uses licensed recordings including Proč bychom se netěšili (licensed by Supraphon) and Kdepak ty ptáčku hnízdo máš (licensed by ProVox Music Publishing and the heirs of Jiří Štaidl). Scenic materials were partially sourced in collaboration with the art re use project. The runtime is 95 minutes without intermission.
