About this event

Malý Mozart is an unconventional, interactive musical experience designed primarily for children aged 5 to 12. The production explores what happens behind the scenes during a theatrical performance. It frames the staging of Mozart's opera The Magic Flute around a series of unbelievable theatrical mishaps. An unfortunate stage manager is tasked with saving the show, and the audience is invited to help uncover the cause of the bad luck and ensure the performance reaches a successful conclusion without the main auditorium audience noticing. The production won the Jihočeská Thálie audience award for the most popular premiered production of 2022. Venue note: Audiences enter through the main theater entrance, use the cloakroom, and are directed by ushers to the performance space located on the 1st floor behind the bar.
