About this event

A full-evening dance work by Tomáš Ondřej Pilař and Martin Šinták transforms Antonín Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances into a vibrant stage poem. Rooted in Czech folk traditions, the production assembles cheerful, dramatic and melancholic elements into an expansive theatrical mosaic. Both cycles of Dvořák’s dances (Op. 46 and Op. 72) are performed live, with the main ballet company joined by a children’s ensemble and a symphonic orchestra. The show celebrates community and continuity across generations through music and movement. It premiered on November 1, 2024, and continues in its final run in the 2025/2026 season.
