One hundred years have passed since the birth of Marilyn Monroe, marking a century since the birth of a myth. The South Bohemian Theatre Ballet presents an original dance production about a woman who became an icon of desire and a symbol of the American dream. The production uniquely infuses the dance performance with sensuality, energy, and the authentic feel of Hollywood’s golden age. This atmosphere is achieved by having Marilyn’s story reenacted by the vocalist of a live band, blending live musical performance with original choreography.
