An intimate chamber program by the internationally acclaimed Tana Quartet and guest musicians places works from different eras in dialogue to reveal new resonances. The evening explores the theme of female desire—long repressed by society yet a persistent source of fascination for artists—linking Debussy and Schoenberg’s fin-de-siècle romanticism and exoticism with the contemporary perspective of American composer Patricia Alessandrini. Presented off-site as part of Opéra de Lille’s Hors les murs series, the concert focuses on the transformative power of love and sensuality in a pure acoustic setting.
