About this event

A concert performance of Haydn’s oratorio The Creation, presented within the Operas and Vocal Works series and the NDR Vocal Ensemble subscription. The NDR Vocal Ensemble, the NDR’s professional chamber choir founded in 1946, performs with the Kammerakademie Potsdam, named Orchestra of the Year at the 2022 Opus Klassik awards. The two ensembles share a long-standing artistic partnership. Chief conductor Klaas Stok, who has led the choir since the 2018/19 season, conducts. Vocal soloists are Liv Redpath (soprano), Michael Porter (tenor), and Markus Eiche (bass). The concert includes an interval. A pre-concert talk in German with Eva Schramm is offered in the Laeiszhalle’s Kleiner Saal.
