The »World Classical Music« series focuses on traditional art music that has evolved over millennia across all continents into highly refined art forms with distinctive artistic vocabularies. Their significance for cultural identity often extends far beyond the sounds themselves. This subscription comprises four distinct concerts in the Elbphilharmonie's Kleiner Saal. The Lebanese trio led by Farah Kaddour on the buzuq takes listeners to the vibrant streets of Beirut. Rhiannon Giddens explores the African American roots of the banjo. The ensemble Kerbez brings epic songs from the high mountains of Kyrgyzstan, and the Teofilović twins from Serbia bring the musical landscape of the Balkans. Subscribers benefit from free travel to concerts within the HVV network on the event date, a 10% discount on additional concert tickets, and the flexibility to exchange one concert per series for credit. A youth subscription is also available for attendees under 30.
