Blind Date – Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg

About this event

The Blind Date series at the Elbphilharmonie is built entirely around the concept of musical surprise. Hosted in the intimate Kleiner Saal (Recital Hall), the series invites audiences to take a daring risk by purchasing tickets without knowing who will perform or what genre of music will be played. The artistic vision embraces a boundless imagination, promising that anything is possible. The programming could range from live jazz improvisation and virtuosic live piano combining jazz and classical music, to a young talented string quartet, or laid-back folk fiddle music. To encourage post-concert engagement and discussion, each ticket includes a free drink, allowing audience members to meet the evening's artists at the bar and discuss the surprise performance they just experienced.
