The program bridges the New and Old Worlds: Mozart’s Symphony in C major, K. 338 represents the Viennese classical core; Bernd Richard Deutsch’s Intensity brings a contemporary voice shaped by his 2019 residency with the Orchestra; and Richard Strauss’s Sinfonia domestica, a vivid portrait of family life, connects the evening to transatlantic musical exchange. The performance takes place in the Elbphilharmonie’s Großer Saal, celebrated for its vineyard-style design and exceptional acoustics.
