About this event

Critically acclaimed Regents Opera and New Palace Opera combine to present a concert performance of Richard Strauss’ monumental tragedy and operatic masterpiece, Elektra. Stripping away full staging, this presentation focuses on the fiercely intense musical drama. In music that spans the horrific and the heart-breaking, the cast and orchestra, led by Ben Woodward, aim to deliver a gripping and memorable evening. The title role is sung by rising star Catharine Woodward, hailed by critics as “resplendent,” “glorious,” and “magnificent.”
