Der Prozess Pelicot is a large-scale scenic oratorio and documentary theatre work by Swiss director Milo Rau and dramaturge Servane Dècle. Built from meticulously compiled court records and statements from the 2024 public trial, the piece stages a reading in which members of the St. Gallen ensemble and invited guests present the original words spoken in court. Rather than a conventional staging, the performance foregrounds testimony, legal dialogue, and the social implications of the case, asking how a society speaks about sexual violence and what must change.
