Atelier Jazz – Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Paris

About this event

Atelier jazz is presented within the Conservatoire de Paris Department of Jazz and Improvised Music. The ateliers bring together students from the same promotion to develop composition and arrangement in medium-sized formations. Each session gives students the opportunity to perform student compositions according to a pre-established schedule. The work includes musical form, orchestration, melodic, harmonic and rhythmic intentions, and the improvement of individual and collective playing in relation to writing choices. These activities are presented once or twice a year as a recital at the Conservatoire de Paris or at partner venues in Paris. For the 2026-12-11 event, no director, designer, named ensemble, individual cast, specific pieces, or separate staging concept is published.
