About this event

Mia Constantine directs a new interpretation of Jane Austen’s classic, staged as a fast-paced, musical, and quick-witted evening in the Kammerspiele at Theater Lübeck. A live band performs on stage with musical arrangements under the direction of Giorgio Radoja. The visual world is created by set designer Monika Frenz, with costumes by Birgit Leitzinger and dramaturgy by Veronika Firmenich. The production is based on Isobel McArthur’s acclaimed adaptation Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of), presented here in Silke Pfeiffer’s German translation.
